Professional HUB MOTOR LACING

Not all wheel builds are created equal! Lacing a wheel is as much of an art form as it is a science – especially when you’re introducing forces to the wheel with a hub motor. A properly laced rim needs to be sized (length & gauge), evenly tensioned so that the spokes distribute forces & maintain stiffness while in use, and trued so that it spins without any wobbles. All of our motors are laced with a single cross pattern (radial lacing a hub motor is a crime!). Our wheel-smiths are specialists in their craft and have over 55 years of combined experience.
